God Quotes
God Quotes – From Humans About GODThis is a small sampling of God quotes, as spoken or written by theologians and authors:
“Because God knows all things perfectly, He knows no thing better than any other thing, but all things equally well. He never discovers anything. He is never surprised, never amazed. He never wonders about anything nor (except when drawing men out for their own good) does He seek information or ask questions.” - A.W. Tozer1
“God loves you just the way you are, but he refuses to leave you that way. He wants you to be just like Jesus.” - Max Lucado2
“Well may the saint trust such a God! He is worthy of implicit confidence. Nothing is too hard for Him. If God were stinted in might and had a limit to His strength we might well despair. But seeing that He is clothed with omnipotence, no prayer is too hard for Him to answer, no need too great for Him to supply, no passion too strong for Him to subdue; no temptation too powerful for Him to deliver from, no misery too deep for Him to relieve.” – Arthur Pink3
“No subject of contemplation will tend more to humble the mind, than thoughts of God.... But while the subject humbles the mind, it also expands it. He who often thinks of God, will have a larger mind than the man who simply plods around this narrow globe.... The most excellent study for expanding the soul, is the science of Christ, and Him crucified, and the knowledge of the Godhead in the glorious Trinity. Nothing will so enlarge the intellect, nothing so magnify the whole soul of man, as a devout, earnest, continued investigation of the great subject of the Deity. – C.H. Spurgeon4 “The world becomes a strange, mad, painful place, and life in it a disappointing and unpleasant business, for those who do not know about God. Disregard the study of God, and you sentence yourself to stumble and blunder through life blindfold, as it were , with no sense of direction, and no understanding of what surrounds you. This way you can waste your life and lose your soul.” – J.I. Packer5
God Quotes – From GOD Himself
Here is a small sampling of God quotes from the Bible:
And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him” (Genesis 2:18, NKJV).
So the LORD said, “I will annihilate these human beings whom I’ve created from the earth, including people, animals, crawling things, and flying creatures, because I’m grieving that I made them” (Genesis 6:7).
Then God asked him, “Who gives a person a mouth? Who makes him unable to speak, or deaf, or able to see, or blind, or lame? Is it not I, the LORD? (Exodus 4:11).
Then the LORD told Moses, “Go up to me on the mountain and stay there. I’ll give you stone tablets with the instruction and law that I’ve written to teach the people” (Exodus 24:12).
So the LORD told me, ‘Get up and proceed to lead the people, so they may enter and take possession of the land that I promised to give their ancestors by an oath’” (Deuteronomy 10:11).
Then the LORD told him: “This is the land that I promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob by an oath when I said, ‘I’ll give it to your descendants.’ I’ll let you see it with your eyes, but you won’t cross over there” (Deuteronomy 34:4).
The LORD told Joshua, “Don’t fear them, because I have handed them over to you. Not one of them will withstand you” (Joshua 10:8).
The LORD told him: “I’ve heard your prayer and your request that you made to me. I have consecrated this Temple that you have built by placing my name there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there continuously (1 Kings 9:3).
When you pass through the waters, I’ll be with you; and through the rivers, they won’t sweep over you. When you walk through fire you won’t be scorched, and the flame won’t set you ablaze (Isaiah 43:2).
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for well-being, and not for calamity, in order to give you a future and a hope’ (Jeremiah 29:11).

WHAT DO YOU THINK? - We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.
