Holy, Holy, Holy Lyrics
QUESTION: What are the Holy, Holy, Holy lyrics?ANSWER:
As the old hymn's lyrics say, God is "holy, holy, holy." While God is divine, many of His attributes are communicable, shared with us. God’s holiness separates Him from sin/evil and describes His devotion to His own glory (Leviticus 11:44; Isaiah 42:8; Matthew 25:31). The tabernacle, dedicated to God’s service contained the “Holy Place.” The ark of the covenant was kept in The Most Holy Place, separated from evil and sin.
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Who was, and is, and evermore shall be.
Holy, holy, holy! though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see;
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in power, in love, and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy Name, in earth, and sky, and sea;
Holy, holy, holy; merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
God’s holiness provides a pattern for His people to imitate. We are commanded to be holy (Leviticus 19:2; 1 Peter 1:15–16). God’s discipline is given to sinful man “that we may share in his holiness” (Hebrews 12:10). As promised, the holiness of God will bring about a time of restoration and renovation when all Creation will praise His name (Revelation 21:1-4).

WHAT DO YOU THINK? - We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.
